Ademola Lookman Enters Tottenham Hotspur’s January Transfer Radar

Atalanta of Italy winger, Ademola Lookman has sensationally been linked with a likely move to Tottenham Hotspur of England, following what appeared to be a bust-up with his coach, Ivan Juric.

Sports247 reports that, while Juric quickly spoke early Thursday to douse tension over a pitch side clash he had with the player during Wednesday night’s win away to Olympique Marseille of France in the UEFA Champions League, talk about an exit has resurfaced for Lookman.

He started training late with the Bergamo-based club at the start of this season after deliberately going AWOL due to their rejection of his transfer request to Inter Milan, and he looked doomed for a torrid campaign.

Just when it appeared that the reigning African Footballer of The Year had finally shaken off the blushes and got back to his best form with Atalanta, Wednesday’s blight has apparently taken him back to the woods, and Tottenham look eager to take full advantage.

A report out of London indicates that Spurs’ sporting director, Fabio Paratici is already dusting his books and looking into new permutations which could see the club make a fresh approach for Lookman in the January transfer window.

Tottenham made an offer to take Lookman from Atalanta on loan with an option to buy late in the summer window, but the approach was rejected by the Serie A side.

Lookman can feature in various attacking options and Tottenham would need a player like him for the second half of this season, but they are reportedly also facing competition for his signature from Bayern Munich of Germany.
