Atalanta of Italy winger, Ademola Lookman has admitted he felt a bolt of relief roll through his vein after scoring for his club in the UEFA Champions League, Sports247 reports.
The goal came in a 3-0 win away to Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany in Tuesday’s UCL fixture and Lookman described it as tonic that has helped him rediscover himself.

Incidentally, Lookman earlier hit the woodwork before netting Atalanta’s first on the night and then put icing on the cake with a superb assist.
The former Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham and Leicester City winger, who also had two stints with RB Leipzig of Germany, added that helping the team win was equally important for him.
“Getting back to scoring and rediscovering the feeling is important to me. But the most important thing for me is the team and that the team won,” Lookman submitted.
He concluded with a view that winning away in the UCL is a big boost to the squad’s morale, ahead of their next fixture this weekend in the Serie A.
