Adeboyejo Tipped To Add Physical Attributes At Mansfield Town

New signing at English League One club, Mansfield Town, Victor Adeboyejo has been tipped to add a lot of physical attributes to the club in the second half of this season, Sports247 reports.

This verdict was passed by the club’s coach, Nigel Clough, who expressed satisfaction with Adeboyejo’s arrival into the team and admitted he will be depending on the Nigerian-born attacker’s impact.

Clough will also count on the badging hitman to make a change in his squad’s hunt for goals, as the coach said he expects Adeboyejo to bring his physical presence into The Stags’ attack.

Adeboyejo is expected to go straight into Mansfield’s main team, following his arrival from League One rivals and former English Premier League campaigners, Bolton Wanderers.

The 27-year-old Adeboyejo was into the final six months of his contract with Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha’s former club, which he joined for £500,000 from Burton Albion in January 2023.

A report by BBC Sport adds: “Adeboyejo, who started his professional career at Leyton Orient before almost five years with Barnsley, as well as Bristol Rovers and Cambridge United, scored 17 goals in 99 appearances for Bolton.

“He has not played a first-team game for 11 months, having undergone knee surgery last season on an injury suffered in February 2025, but moves to Mansfield on a deal that runs until the end of the season.”
