Adebare Football Club, a youth football club established in 2015 in Lagos, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Modena FC, Italy to cooperate in developing strong ties between the respective football clubs for the mutual benefit, promotion, growth and success of football in both countries through an international exchange program, Scouting, talent identification and player development of young talented players who are aspiring to become professional players.
The Lagos based academy which was established in honor and memory of Late Babatunde Adebare Adebanjo following his death in a fatal motor accident on 31 October, 2014 allays that the partnership will also enables coach education and development which will see to the tactical and technical knowhow development of coaches on young player training development to help the coaches to continue with the right training and development program of the players using the modern European Youth training methodology and Italian style of play.
Club chairman, Mr Oladapo Adesola expressed his delight for the partnership and collaboration with the Italian club stating that this will help to discover and develop young talented players across Nigeria giving them the opportunity to undergo an international exchange program in other to be develop in the Italian style of football leading them through the pathway of becoming professional football player exposing them to the international football community.
Mr Seun Odeleye, General Director of the club further stated that the club has a project that is “Football development and International Exchange Program” He says “We would organize various programs (in collaboration with some top professional clubs and Universities in Europe, Asia and the Americas) with a view to investing in the future of Nigerian Youths, showcase amateur talents and afford them opportunities to display their skills, support and strengthen their raw skills in sports, and launch them into international community
