Access Bank Lagos City Marathon: Revolution Plus promises plots of land to marathon winners

In line with its effort to make more landlords out of Nigerians, Access Bank Lagos City Marathon co sponsor Revolution Plus Properties in its own capacity has promised to give lands to the first set of Nigerians to to cross the finish line at the Lagos City Marathon holding on Saturday February 2nd.

 

This was made known by MD CEO of the organisation Mr Bamidele Onalaja at the world press conference heralding the race which took place at the Sharaton Hotel in Ikeja Lagos on Friday.

 

Revolution Plus Properties in the spirit of encouraging Nigerian runners of all gender at the marathon have decided to reward the first Nigerian athlete and wheelchair runner (man and woman) to finish the 42km marathon race will be rewarded with one plot of land each courtesy of RevolutionPlus Property.

 

Mr Bamidele Onalaja insists that he expects Nigerians to also compete for the main mouth watering prize despite having traditional elite marathoners from Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea and others stating that the country has all it takes to be the best in the world in distance races.

 

Meanwhile race organisers have stated that the winner of the 2019 Lagos marathon will smile home with a whooping sum of $50,000 while the second placed athlete of the 42km race will win $40,000 while the bronze medalist will win $30,000 in the men and women’s category.

To entertain athletes and fans of the race, award winning Nigerian artistes D’banj and Teni the entertainer have been scheduled to thrill the fans while D’banj has also promised to run alongside thousands of athletes at the 4th edition of the prestigious event.
