Abia Warriors commiserates with Enugu Rangers Over Ifeanyi George’s death

The management of Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia have commiserated with Enugu Rangers over the death of her Sensational striker, Ifeanyi George.

The player alongside his friend and another Rangers team B player were travelling for the ten-days (10) break approved by the management of the club following the Suspension of the Nigeria Professional League (NPFL) over the outbreak of Corona Virus Pandemic.

The heartbreaking accident happened along Benin Road which claimed the life of George throwing his family, friends and football enthusiast into total sadness.

Speaking on behalf of the club, Sporting Director, Mr.Patrick Ngwaogu expressed shock at the news describing it as “one death too many “.

Ngwaogu consoled the Rangers International family saying that Abia Warriors FC stands with them at this painful period.

“Words cannot describe the depth of pain we felt at the shocking news of the demise of George, we want to use this medium to convey our condolence and sincere sympathy to the family he has left behind”

Ifeanyi George is well known in the Nigeria Professional Football League for his versatility and the Enugu Rangers strikers had Four (4) to his name in the current season.
