ABIA COMETS SHIFT GROUND SET TO HOST BAYELSA UNITED IN ABA

Match Day 2 of Group B1 of Nigeria National League that was earlier scheduled to host in Umuahia township Stadium between Abia Comets and Bayelsa United has been moved to Abia Township stadium, sports247.ng reports.

 

 

sports247.ng learns that this decision was made as a result of the impending reconstruction work and upgrade of the Umuahia Township Stadium, Abia Comets FC Umuahia will play her home matches of the 2018/19 Nigeria National League (NNL) season at the Enyimba Int’l. Stadium, Aba.

The Okezuo Boys will host Bayelsa United FC. in their first home game on Saturday 20th April 2019.

Abia Comets FC which is in Group B1 of the NNL Southern Conference drew 1 – 1 with Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan in the week 1 match of Group B1 played at the Adamasimgba Stadium, Ibadan last week Wednesday.

Abia Comets FC President Coach Victor Nwakanma says the match is a must win for the Club to consolidate her position in the league table and urged soccer loving Abians to come out enmass to cheer the boys to victory.
