Oloko took to her Facebook page to express her joy after the memorable encounter with the highly rated Nigerian international.

“It was an honour to finally meet you—not just to meet you, but also to have the privilege to train with you. Thank you so much, this means a lot to me,” she wrote.

The young shot-stopper recently received her maiden call-up to the national team camp for the double header friendly encounter with Cameroon in Yaoundé.

The invitation came as result of impressive performances with Abia Angels in the Nigeria Women Football League.

Born in February 2008 and standing at over six feet tall, Oloko is widely regarded as one of the brightest emerging goalkeeping talents in Nigerian women’s football.

Her commanding presence, agility and sharp reflexes have drawn praise from coaches and observers across the league.

Her strong performances for Abia Angels during the ongoing season earned her the opportunity to join the senior national team camp in February 2026, marking a significant milestone in her young career.

Meeting Nnadozie, who is widely considered one of Africa’s finest female goalkeepers, proved to be the highlight of Oloko’s experience in camp.

Nnadozie has risen to global prominence in recent years, winning the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year three consecutive times and finishing among the world’s top goalkeepers in the 2025 Ballon d’Or rankings.

For Oloko, sharing the training ground with such a decorated figure represents both inspiration and motivation as she continues to develop her game.

Often described as “lanky and agile,” the Abia Angels goalkeeper will be hoping to learn from the best as she continues her rise in Nigerian football.

With idols gradually becoming mentors, Oloko’s journey could mark the beginning of another promising chapter in Nigeria’s rich tradition of producing top female goalkeepers.
