Ogun State based Nigeria National League side, Abeokuta Stormers Sports Club, (ASSC) will have indigenous oil and gas company, Optima Energy as a shirt sponsor for the 2021/2022 football season.
General manager of the Club, Mr. Lekan Kelani who confirmed the deal said the new jersey sponsorship is a huge boost as the team continue preparation for the new Nigeria National League (NNL) season
He said “We are very delighted to seal this deal, we appreciate Optima energy for identifying with our brand, we are quite optimistic of giving them a top notch value for this partnership”
“At Abeokuta Stormers, we are committed to doing things the appropriate way, we are not there yet, maybe we are not close, but we are not so far away”.
With the development, Optima energy will be engraved on all jerseys to be used by “The Stormers” all through the season.
Optima Energy Resources Limited is an indigenous petroleum marketing company, a trading partner of NNPC, they are involved in the export of crude oil, fuel oil, naphtha, LPG and pentane.
They are also a major supplier of oil products, particularly gasoline and jet fuel to the private sector and local industry.
