D’Tigers international player, E.J Anosike, has conveyed his best wishes to the team as they set off on their journey to qualify for the AfroBasket 2025 tournament.
Despite facing initial setbacks due to financial constraints, D’Tigers have been cleared to participate in the qualifying tournament in Tunisia.

In a heartfelt message, Anosike expressed his support for his teammates and urged them to seize the opportunity presented before them.
“Hey everybody, it’s EJ Anosike. I just want to wish all the players going out there to Tunisia to compete. I wish them the best of luck and to take advantage of this opportunity,” Anosike stated.
Anosike, who was unable to join the team due to unforeseen circumstances, expressed his disappointment at missing out on the opportunity to represent his country once again.
However, he remained hopeful for a future opportunity to rejoin the team and contribute to their success.
“I wish I was out there playing with you guys. I enjoyed coming home and representing the country.
Hopefully, we get things right and I can come back soon,” Anosike added, emphasizing his desire to reunite with his teammates on the court.
