The principal of Will-B Excellence Secondary School, Ikotun, Lagos, Mr. Gboyega Adeuyi has expressed appreciation over a health seminar organized for the students by the Rotary Club of Alausa-Ikeja.
Adeuyi was full of plaudits for the Rotary Club’s delegation that not only graced the occasion physically but also sponsored it fully.
They provided enough muscle for the first event to be staged in the school owned by Elder Williams Olaoye since the inauguration of the Will-B Interact Club of Ikotun.
It was a glorious and historic moment for the Interact Club’s president, Kosisochukwu Orame, the secretary, Afeez Abdulraheem, public relations officer, Eddy Miracle, and other executive committee members.
They were all excited to welcome the sponsors, led by Rotarian Stella Nwanyieze Arukwe, Assistant Club Secretary, and Rotarian Aderiyike Evelyn Olukayode, We care Chairman. Also in the delegation were Jide-Ojo Olusola Jide, Public Image Chairman, and the Assistant administrative Club officer, Rotarian Oluwabunmi Ogunkunle.
They were joined by two resources, Oluwakemi Adewale and Seun, who spoke respectively on maintaining good health and avoiding diseases.
They both then answered questions thrown at them by members of Will-B Interact Club and other students present, among whom were some invited from nearby Mutty Favour School.
Rotarian Jide-Ojo and Rotarian Ogunkunle then took the gathering through rudiments of next year’s Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA 2022).
Rotarian Ogunkunle concluded by saying: Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where you develop your skills as a leader while having fun and making connections.
