Nine matches played, none lost and coach Akande Fatai is currently enjoying a beautiful spell with his Dannaz FC side as they remain unbeaten so far in the Fusion Football Championship and maybe a chance to replicate “the invincibles” of the English Premier League here in Nigeria.
The coach was quick to state that he feels no pressure despite being unbeaten after nine matches in the league so far with seven wins and two draws. “No pressure, not at all,” Akande Fatai told Sports247.
When asked the possibility of his side going unbeaten all the way in the 20-team league the manager said it’s not impossible to achieve. “As long as I believe in the fact that impossibility is nothing, I can get it done,” Fatai said.
“It’s very important for the players to stay focused, they shouldn’t get carried away. They are developing and still have a lot of things to learn,” Fatai added as regards his advice for his players.
Dannaz FC sit top of the Fusion Football Championship with 23 points from 9 games ahead of FC Bethel, Charlessan FC, and Ajuwa FC
