Nigeria lost their fifth place classification match against Senegal at the Africa Women Handball Championship in Yaounde on Wednesday.
The match decided at the Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex saw Nigeria capitulate to the superpower of the Senegalese as they went behind in the first half 16-4.
A second-half push came slightly late on in the match but Senegal had already done the damage to earn an important 32-15 against Nigeria.
The National Women Handball team as who lost out in the quarter-final against host Cameroon on Tuesday will now face Guinea for a seventh-place classification match on Thursday at 2 pm.
