“When I was on the bench, I was reading the game and knowing where they lack, where I can run to and so on, so that when I get the opportunity to come in I can make some impact,” Ezekiel Light told Sports247 after rescuing a point for the TCC league leaders.
Remo Stars U19 returned to the TCC League with a surprisingly tough game as Imperial FC put up a very strong fight to go two goals up, but in the 2nd half, Remo Stars got the first goal and then Ezekiel Light drew them level with a great finish and the lad described the game as a tough one.
“It was a tough one. We have played Imperial before but this was difficult because it looked like Imperial went to learn football again. Their pattern changed with the formation and quality of players they have now,” Ezekiel said.
Ezekiel also went on to praise the quality of the opponent calling them a “good side” and noting that their position at the bottom of the table doesn’t really portray their quality as they are not the worst team in the league for him.
