SWAN congratulates Sir Monday Uko on his reappointment as Commissioner for Youth and Sports
Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, (SWAN), Akwa Ibom State chapter felicitates the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Sir Monday Ebong Uko on his reappointment as the Commissioner, Ministry of Youth and Sports in Akwa Ibom State following the reshufflement of the State Executive Council by His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel on Monday, August 3, 2020.
According to a press release by SWAN Akwa Ibom Chapter,
“Sir, your reappointment attests to the unmitigated and sacrificial contributions to the development of sports in the State. Besides the enormous successes recorded during your tenure.
As a critical stakeholder in the sports sector, SWAN has witnessed your untiring devotion, commitment and at all times showcasing the interest of His Excellency, Gov. Udom Emmanuel in repositioning of sports to the advantage and benefits of our teeming gifted youths. We pray that your lofty plans to shore up the fortune of sports in the state will be accomplished as you return to the office despite the numerous challenges.
SWAN also salute the Governor, His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel for the confidence reposed in your abilities and pledge to be a reliable and dedicated partner in the promotion and development of sports in the state.”
