Speaking in an interview with Sports247, TCC co-founder and Gbagada FC owner Olajide Akinyelu said, “Gladiators Arena will be ready for TCC matches,” as the championship continues to expand its facilities and reach.
According to Akinyelu, the Epe-based facility will join other venues that have been used for TCC fixtures, including Imperial Stadium, Remo Stars Stadium, Legacy Pitch, Dipo Dina International Stadium, CMS Primary School, Abati Barracks Pitch and MKO Abiola Sports Arena.
The development would provide TCC clubs with another venue option while extending the championship’s presence across Lagos and Ogun States.
Other venues on the TCC list include Mobolaji Johnson Arena and Agege Stadium, alongside Gladiators Arena, Epe, which is being prepared for TCC action.
The move reflects TCC’s continued efforts to improve its match venues and provide clubs with suitable facilities as the championship continues to grow.
