Sports247 reports that the World Tennis-rated event was initially scheduled to take place over two consecutive legs, with the first leg billed for October 26–31, 2026, before the second leg was scheduled for November 2–7, 2026.
However, the second week of the competition is now listed as “canceled” on the official tournament listing, effectively removing the November leg from the current schedule.
As of the time of filing this report, the first leg, scheduled for October 26–31, remains listed on the official World Tennis platform. There has, however, been growing concern over whether the opening week will eventually go ahead as planned.
No official explanation has been provided by the organisers for the cancellation of the second leg. However, Sports247 understands that funding challenges may have played a significant role in the decision, although this has not been officially confirmed.
