Nigerian attacker Emmanuel Oshomoha has taken a major step in his football journey after officially signing for Ukrainian side Polissya Zhytomyr.
The talented forward, who developed his football at Right 2 Win FC of Abia State, has secured a move to Europe and is set to compete in the Ukrainian Premier League U21, giving him a fresh platform to develop and showcase his ability.
Oshomoha’s move represents another significant milestone in his progression from grassroots football in Nigeria to the European stage. The young attacker will now begin life in Zhytomyr Oblast, north-central Ukraine, as he looks to adapt to a new football environment and make his presence felt.
The Nigerian youngster is expected to bring his attacking qualities, energy and determination to the Vovky, with the opportunity to compete against some of Ukraine’s promising young talents.
Reflecting on the move, Oshomoha said the opportunity represents the kind of challenge he has been working toward.
“This is a big step for me, and I know it comes with responsibility. I want to learn, compete and show what I can do. My goal is to keep improving and make the most of every opportunity at Polissya.”
For Right 2 Win FC, Oshomoha’s transfer is another reminder of the growing pathway from Nigerian grassroots football to opportunities abroad.
From Abia State to Zhytomyr, the young attacker is now ready to begin a new adventure in the Slavic region — with his sights firmly set on making an impact in Ukraine.
