Everton have reportedly opened talks with Nottingham Forest over a potential move for Super Eagles right-back Ola Aina, with the Premier League transfer deadline fast approaching.
Sports247 reports that the 29-year-old Nigerian international has emerged as one of Everton’s defensive targets as manager David Moyes looks to strengthen his options following the retirement of long-serving captain Seamus Coleman.

Negotiations between the two Premier League clubs are understood to be ongoing, with time running out for Everton to reach an agreement and complete the transfer before the window closes.
Aina’s situation at Nottingham Forest could also influence his decision. Forest have strengthened their right-back position with the signing of Colombia international Daniel Muñoz from Crystal Palace in a deal reportedly worth £22 million.
The arrival of Muñoz is expected to create increased competition for the position and could potentially affect Aina’s opportunities for regular first-team football.
Aina has been an important figure for Forest since joining the club and has established himself as a versatile and experienced defender capable of operating on either flank. His performances have also made him a regular member of the Super Eagles setup.
