Super Eagles forward Umar Sadiq has publicly questioned the official Super Eagles social media account after appearing to take issue with his omission from a weekend post highlighting a Nigerian goalscorer abroad.

Sports247 reports that Sadiq found the net for Valencia in their 3–1 defeat to Deportivo La Coruña in La Liga, but his goal was reportedly not included in the Super Eagles’ recap of Nigerians who scored for their clubs over the weekend.
The omission appeared to frustrate the striker, who reacted on social media with a pointed message directed at the national team’s account.
“They’re enemies of progress… they don’t move me to NBA since then,” Sadiq wrote, expressing his displeasure at being left out of the post.
