Nigeria’s youth female natiobal team, Falconets have settled down at Hotel Trzebnica, in the countryside of Poland, ahead of their search for glory at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
However, Sports247 gathered that the hotel will only serve as a temporary base for Coach Moses Aduku’s squad, as the Nigerian team will later relocate to an official abode designated by FIFA for the global showpiece.

Information provided by the communications department of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) revealed that the two-time runners-up are in Poland with great expectations, after their intensive final phase of preparations in Abuja, during which emphasis was on physical fitness, tactical discipline, teamwork and mental readiness.
Aduku declared a deep level of confidence in the squad, with a view that the players have been adequately prepared physically and mentally, making them ready to compete at the highest level, with a strong winning mentality and ambition to challenge for the trophy.
Sports247 gathered further that the Falconets are in Group F along with Spain, China and New Caledonia at the tournament, where the 2010 and 2014 runners-up will aim to win Nigeria’s first title in the competition.
The NFF’s media statement added, “The team will stay at Hotel Trzebnica in the city of Trzebnica from their arrival on Tuesday until (next week) Thursday, 3rd September, when they will move into the FIFA hotel. While at the Hotel Trzebnica, the Falconets will perfect their tactical and technical readiness.
“(They will) also acclimatize ahead of their Group F games against Spain (7th September), China (10th September) and New Caledonia (13th September). A total of 21 players will fly Nigeria’s flag at the competition.
“Nigeria (is) the only African country to have appeared at every edition of the competition since it was launched as an U19 tournament in Canada 24 years ago.”
