Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has issued a public declaration of confidence in the ability of a high-profile tactician, Coach Kingsley, to continue setting examples for others to follow and inspire more technical hands across the nation to aspire for greatness.
Sports247 reports that the vote of confidence from NVBF came after Alika completed an FIVB Level 3 Coaching Course in Zimbabwe and became one of a few Nigerian volleyball tacticians to achieve the hugely prestigious certification.
While noting that the achievement further places him among an elite group of highly qualified volleyball coaches in Nigeria, the NVBF noted further that Alika’s latest milestone is more remarkable, considering that only 18 out of 32 candidates passed the course.
A press release signed by the federation’s media and publicity committee chairman, Godspower Odedede eulogised the gaffer and disclosed in part, “The NVBF commends Coach Alika for his dedication, discipline and relentless pursuit of excellence.
“His success is not only a personal achievement but also a proud moment for Nigerian volleyball and the entire coaching community. We celebrate this remarkable milestone and are confident that Coach Kingsley Alika will continue to inspire the next generation of Nigerian coaches.
“(He will also continue to) contribute meaningfully to the growth and advancement of volleyball in Nigeria. Congratulations, Coach Kingsley Alika! Sixth Nigerian. FIVB Level 3 Certified. Instructor in the Making. The Nigeria Volleyball Federation celebrates you.”
Sports247 gathered further that Alika has also shown huge potential of soon becoming an FIVB instructor, which has been boosted by his exhibition of expertise, commitment and updated knowledge that will help him contribute to the development of volleyball coaching education in Nigeria and beyond.
