Nigeria’s Super Falcons will face Cameroon in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after Ghana completed the last-eight line-up with a 1-1 draw against Mali.

The Black Queens secured second place in Group D on four points, despite Mali matching their tally, after Ghana edged the West Africans on goal difference.
Ghana took the lead deep into first-half stoppage time through Evelyn Badu, who converted Comfort Yeboah’s assist. Mali responded five minutes after the restart when Kadidiatou Diabate levelled the score.
Mali needed a victory to advance but Ghana held on during a tense closing period to book their place in the knockout stage.
Cameroon finished top of Group D with seven points after a 1-1 draw with Cape Verde, setting up a heavyweight quarter-final clash with Nigeria.
The Super Falcons will now battle the Indomitable Lionesses for a place in the semi-finals, with qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup also at stake.
