The proposed all-British clash has been one of the most anticipated fights in world boxing for several years, with previous negotiations collapsing despite widespread demand from fans. However, Hearn insists the latest agreement leaves little room for uncertainty.

Speaking on the status of negotiations, the veteran promoter said every major contractual issue has already been resolved.

“The fight is contractually secured. Both sides have signed a legally binding agreement, so from our perspective there is nothing left to negotiate,” Hearn said.

The Matchroom boss also addressed speculation surrounding the venue, stressing that although there has been significant international interest in staging the fight, any decision to move it away from the United Kingdom would require the approval of both Joshua and his management team.

“The fight will only leave England if Anthony Joshua and I agree to it. As things stand, the agreement is already in place,” he added.

Joshua and Fury have dominated British heavyweight boxing over the past decade, collecting multiple world titles between them and headlining some of the sport’s biggest events. A meeting between the two has long been regarded as one of boxing’s most commercially valuable contests, but negotiations have repeatedly broken down over financial and contractual issues.

Hearn’s latest comments will provide renewed optimism that the undisputed British heavyweight rivalry could finally be settled in the ring, with fans eager to see two of the country’s biggest boxing stars face each other after years of speculation.

Attention will now turn to the official announcement of the fight date and venue, with expectations continuing to grow that Joshua and Fury will finally deliver one of the most eagerly awaited heavyweight clashes in modern boxing.
