Eberechi Eze’s Move To Arsenal Described As ‘Right Decision,’ Following Gunners’ EPL Title Conquest

Nigeria-born dazzler, Eberechi Eze’s decision to join Arsenal at the start of this season has been described as ‘the right decision,’ following the club’s historic conquest of the English Premier League title in his first year with the team.

Sports247 reports that Eze played a very remarkable role in helping The Gunners end a 22-year-wit for the EPL title and have reached the UEFA Champions League final coming up this Saturday against Paris-Saint Germain of France.

With the England international heaping the best marks of his career so far since moving to Emirates Stadium from Crystal Palace, Eze has now gained accolades and superlatives from the coach of his last club, Oliver Glasner.

While taking a look at what the 27-year-old Eberechi Eze has achieved with Arsenal, Glasner reflected on the star’s move to Arsenal last summer in a deal worth £60m plus £7.5m in add-ons and submitted that it has turned into a huge success.

Eze’s transfer to Arsenal has always been referred to as an emotional return to the club that released him as a 13-year-old upstart and he is now an EPL champion, but was actually on the verge of joining their North London rivals, Tottenham.

Now heading into the last day of the season, with Tottenham on the verge of relegation while Arsenal are champions and face Crystal Palace in their final fixture this Sunday, Glasner noted how Eze’s choice has turned out to be ideal.

Glasner said, “First of all I want to congratulate Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, his players, staff. It’s a fantastic job they have done. Also, a special congrats to Eberechi, I think he’s taken the right decision to go to Arsenal and not to another club.”
