Among them is former director-general of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Dr. Amos Adamu, who will serve as the keynote speaker for the lecture, which he said will explore the enduring legacy of football icons like Stephen Keshi across Nigeria and Africa.

He added that Adamu will speak under the theme ‘Heroes of the Game: Celebrating African Football Legends for Tomorrow’s Aspirants,’ as the lecture aims to be a driving force for youth empowerment, national unity and sports development.

While also revealing that current chairman of the NSC, Mallam Shehu Dikko will chair the event, Ogbeifun added that Adamu will bring decades of high-level administrative expertise to the event in honour of Keshi, who died on June 7, 2016.
