“The team is improving steadily,” Busari said.
According to the coach, the technical crew has worked extensively on several tactical areas as preparations intensify.
“We’ve focused heavily on pressing and movement,” he implied.
Busari explained that the team has been sharpening its off-the-ball movement, transitional play, and finishing drills ahead of the encounter.
“The players are responding very well,” he noted.
The coach also highlighted the healthy level of competition within the squad, insisting that places remain open for players willing to perform.
“Competition for positions is still very high,” he added.
Nigeria will face Guinea in the first-leg encounter on May 23 before the return fixture at the Remo Stars Stadium on May 31.
“These are very important matches,” Busari stressed.
The Flamingos continue preparing with the ambition of securing another appearance at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
“The expectations around the team remain high,” many football observers believe.
For Busari, the message is clear.
The team is improving.
Preparation is progressing positively.
And the Flamingos are ready for the challenge ahead.
Because success in youth football begins with discipline, tactical organization, and strong preparation.
