Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong has expressed confidence that Nigeria will successfully qualify for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations following the official draw conducted by CAF.
Reacting to the qualification group, Ekong admitted that the Super Eagles have enough quality and experience to progress despite the challenges that come with African qualifiers.

“We should be able to qualify,” Ekong said.

“We know what to expect from some of them,” he noted.
The former Watford defender also highlighted the excitement surrounding other qualification groups, especially where major African football nations have been paired together.
“Some of the other groups will be very interesting,” he added.
Nigeria’s qualification journey is expected to attract strong attention as the Super Eagles attempt to re-establish themselves among Africa’s elite teams.
