The proprietor of Femmco FC of Ifo in Ogun State, Mr Femi Oladehinde is celebrating the success of one of his products, Seun Akanji, who excelled with Sporting Lagos during this year’s Nigerian National League (NNL) Super-4.
Sports247 reports that Akanji, who will soon travel out for a contract in Norway, was one of the shining stars that helped Sporting Lagos clinch the 2026 Super-4 title on Friday at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

While many football fans gloated over Akanji’s skills, especially the solo goal he scored against Doma United of Gombe on Wednesday, Oladehinde simply went back in time with fond memories of their days together at Femmco FC.
He told Sports247 in an exclusive chat that he started grooming Akanji when the dazzler was still a junior secondary school student, and noted that the youngster has never stopped waxing strong.
“I am happy to see Akanji doing well with Sporting Lagos, and he is making me proud. I came all the way from Ifo to watch him play at the Super-4, and he did not disappoint me.
“I’m praying that he too will succeed in Europe like one of my creative midfielders, Olamilekan Akinduro is currently doing. I am also happy seeing Roqeeb Owoseni shining with Future Stars FC.
“They are confirming to me that I did not make a mistake when I started Femmco FC in the year 2000 at Agboro area of Iyana Ipaja in Lagos.
“I moved to Ifo in 2009 and continued the club there on a bigger scale at NUD School. That’s where we are still training up till now,” Oladehinde disclosed.
The humble youth developer revealed further that his club’s most recent success was when they won Adamasule U13 Cup at Pipeline Field in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos and he believes they will win more in days to come.
