Leeds United’s Nigerian-born attacker, Noah Okafor turned out to be the undisputed hero of the night, as he netted a brace in his side’s 2-1 victory away to Manchester United in the English Premier League.
Sports247 reports that Okafor put the visitors in front with a clinical first-time effort after just five minutes and had Leeds two ahead by half-time with a shot that flicked off Leny Yoro and into the corner.

Losario Martinez’s dismissal following a video assistantb referee (VAR) intervention seemed to spark the hosts and Casemiro pulled one back for Manchester United as Bruno Fernandes produced his 17th assist of the season.
While Okafor bowed out in the 74th minute, Lukas Nmecha was benched for the duration, as Leeds went six points clear of Tottenham Hotspur, who occupy the third relegation spot, ahead of the visit of Wolves to Elland Road this weekend.
A report by Tribal Football noted in part, “Another Leeds cross into the box this time yielded the opening goal, with the unmarked Noah Okafor steering home Jayden Bogle’s delivery in front of the Stretford End.
“United’s response was fairly muted, with Amad Diallo proving to be their brightest spark. It was Leeds getting the better sightings of goal, though, and they added a deserved second shortly before the half-hour mark.
“There was an element of fortune in how it came about as Okafor’s volley from distance deflected off Leny Yoro and into the corner, but Daniel Farke’s men were certainly good value for their two-goal lead.”
