Femmco Football Championship Kicks Off in Ifo with Full Draws Unveiled

The third edition of the Femmco Football Championship has officially kicked off today, Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Champions Arena, Nawarudeen Primary School Playing Ground in Olose, Ifo, Ogun State, with an expanded lineup and detailed draws across all categories.

Organised by Femmco 01 International in partnership with the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (Ifo Chapter), the grassroots tournament continues its mission to discover and develop young football talents across U10, U13, U15, and female categories.

Speaking ahead of kickoff with Sports247, Team Manager Oluwafemi Adebayo, fondly known as “FEMMCO,” described the competition as a revival of a long-term vision after the maiden edition in 2018.

He emphasized that the championship is here to stay with the 26th anniversary year anniversary attached, with plans to introduce an even bigger developmental camp during the third-term holidays.

U10 Draws Group A: Phoenix FC (Lagos), Sharp Striker (Lagos), Young Gunners (Matogun), Apakose FSA (Ifo), Dominion FA (Sango)

Group B: Fortune FA (Lagos), Aspirants FA (Lagos), Mico FC (Ifo), Dominion Star (Abeokuta), Young Borax (Matogun)

Group C: HTT Academy (Lagos), Senior Bois FA (Lagos), Ultimate FC (Ifo), Okeola Concord (Ifo), Solace FA (Ifo)

U13 Draws Group A: Fortune FC (Lagos), Senior Bois (Lagos), Young Star (Ota), Okeola Concord (Ifo), Young Gunners (Matogun)

Group B: Sharp Striker FA (Lagos), HTT Academy (Lagos), Femmco FC (Ifo), Young Star (Ilogbo), Solace FA (Ifo)

Group C: Topmost FA (Lagos), Apakose FSA (Ifo), Musty FA (Kwara), Dominion Star (Abeokuta)

Group D: Phoenix FC (Lagos), Great Star (Abeokuta), Dominion FC (Sango), Ultimate FC (Ifo), Striker FC (Ifo)

U15 Draws Group A: Topmost FA (Lagos), Aspirants FC (Lagos), Femmco FC (Ifo), Okeola Concord (Ifo)

Group B: Great Star (Abeokuta), Sharp Striker FA (Lagos), Young Star (Ilogbo), Ultimate FC (Ifo)

Matchday 1 fixtures began with U10 games, including Ultimate FC vs Okeola Concord and Mico FC vs Dominion Star. In the U13 category, Femmco FC face Solace FA, while Musty FA take on Dominion Star. The day concludes with a U15 clash between Young Star (Iyana-Ilogbo) and Ultimate FC.

The female category will see RoyalToms Queens International, Sharp Queens, and Young Borax compete for top honours, adding further excitement to the competition.

With teams from Ogun, Lagos, Abeokuta, Sango, and Kwara participating, the tournament promises a rich blend of talent and competition.

The championship will run until April 25, 2026, providing a vital platform for young players to showcase their abilities and attract attention from scouts and football stakeholders.
