Usor Inspires LASK to Emphatic Win Over Austria Wien

Moses Usor delivered a standout all-round performance, scoring once and providing an assist to power LASK to a commanding 4–1 home victory over Austria Wien on Matchday 22 of the Austrian Bundesliga.

The Nigerian forward made an early impact, setting up the opening goal in just the 5th minute for Moussa Kone Cisse, giving LASK a dream start in front of their home fans.

The game tilted further in LASK’s favor when Tin Plavotić was sent off for Austria Wien in the 12th minute, reducing the visitors to ten men.

LASK capitalized immediately on the numerical advantage, with Kasper Jørgensen doubling the lead just a minute later.

Usor then got on the scoresheet himself in the 14th minute, finishing clinically from an assist by Benedikt Horvath to further extend the hosts’ dominance.

Despite Austria Wien pulling one back in the 16th minute, LASK remained firmly in control. Sasa Kalajdzic added the fourth goal in the 33rd minute to seal a comprehensive first-half performance that ultimately decided the contest.

Usor’s display, which saw him involved in two of the four goals before being substituted in the 71st minute, underlined his growing influence in LASK’s attacking setup. His pace, creativity, and composure in the final third proved too much for the visitors to handle.

The victory lifts LASK to 37 points, drawing them level with FC Salzburg and just one point behind league leaders Sturm Graz, intensifying the title race as the season progresses.

With performances like this, Usor continues to strengthen his case as a key figure for LASK, as they push to close the gap at the top and maintain momentum in the closing stages of the campaign.
