All talk about a possible exit from Bayern Munich of Germany by Nigerian-born dazzler, Michael Olise might not see the light of day after all, as The Bavarians’ technical director, Max Eberl insists the star will see out his contract until 2029.

Sports47 reports that Olise had earlier been linked with a move to Real Madrid of Spain this summer, but latest transfer speculation is connecting him with Liverpool of England as a replacement for Mohammed Salah at Anfield.
That would be a comfortable return to the English Premier League for the French international, who previously played for Crystal Palace, before making the move to Munich in 2024, but Eberl insists the Nigerian-born lad is going nowhere.
Rather than get flustered over speculation about a possible return to England for Olise at the end of the current season, Eberl pointed out that the in-form midfielder knows he simply has to see out his running contract before thinking of leaving.
Bayern paid around £50m for Olixse’s signature, following which the 24-year-old former Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Reading youth teamer has gone on to score 36 goals and provided 50 assists in 94 appearances across all competitions.
Eberl told SportBILD: “It doesn’t matter which club is interested in him: anyone who plays for FC Bayern knows what they have here. Michael has a contract with us until 2029, with no release clause; we’re calm.”
Sports247 reports further that Michael Akpovie Olise was born to a British-Nigerian father and Franco-Algerian mother in White City, Greater London, England on December 12, 2001.
He started his football journey when he joined Hayes & Yeading FC at the age of six, after which he moved to the Chelsea Academy, where he spent seven years before hopping over to Arsenal and later on Manchester City.
Olise, who was eligible to represent France, Algeria, England and Nigeria, once said, “I have always had a connection with the France national team, that is why I play for France. It’s been my dream since I was a kid to play football for France.”
