Joy Ojo Claims Unanimous Decision Victory Over Kutaka in Rwanda 

Nigeria’s Joy Ojo secured an impressive unanimous decision victory over Tanzania’s Zawadi Kutaka in a six-round super-featherweight contest held in Kigali, Rwanda.

The bout, staged at KCC Roundabout, saw Ojo deliver a dominant performance, controlling proceedings from the opening bell and showcasing superior technique and ring awareness throughout the fight.

All three judges scored the contest in favour of the Nigerian, returning verdicts of 59-51, 60-54, and 59-55 after six rounds.

The victory extends Ojo’s unbeaten professional record to 6-0-0 (2 KOs), further underlining her growing reputation in the women’s boxing division.

Ojo’s commanding display in Kigali signals her continued rise in the sport, as she builds momentum toward bigger opportunities on the international stage.
