Nigeria’s rising tennis star Seun Ogunsakin has been crowned champion of the ITF U-18 Africa Regional Championship (J200) in Cairo, Egypt.

He capped off a sensational run with a dramatic comeback victory in the final where he defeated two highly rated Egyptians in the quarter and Semi finals respectively.

The teenage sensation battled from a set down to defeat Botswana’s highly-rated Ntugamili Raguin 1-6, 7-6, 6-3, showcasing resilience and composure against one of Africa’s most promising young talents.

Ogunsakin’s path to the title was nothing short of impressive.

He was able to handle pressure of a hostile home crowd before delivering his best performance when it mattered most.
