The Super Eagles’ training camp in Antalya continues to take shape, with the squad now up to 21 players following the arrival of six more team members on Wednesday morning.

The latest arrivals mark another positive step for head coach Éric Chelle, who is gradually assembling a full squad ahead of Nigeria’s international friendlies against Iran on March 27 and Jordan on March 31, 2026.
With the team already settled in Turkey, preparations have intensified as the technical crew begins to implement tactical plans and assess player fitness.
The increasing number of players in camp has also allowed for more structured training sessions as the focus shifts toward match readiness.

Officials are expecting the remaining invited players to arrive soon, which will complete the 23-man squad ahead of the two fixtures.
Originally billed to take place in Amman, both matches were moved to Turkey due to security concerns in the Middle East, making Antalya the new base for the Super Eagles.
With the squad nearing completion, attention now turns to building cohesion within the team and giving Chelle the opportunity to test his strategies as Nigeria continues its preparations for upcoming competitive engagements.
