The former senator also poured encomiums on director-general of the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Comrade Philip Shaibu for putting the training centre into the public spotlight, while pointing out that Nigeria’s sports administration has witnessed a remarkable turnaround in less than a year.
“Nigeria has never had it this good in sports administration,” said Diri, who also charged other sports administrators and political appointees to promote President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visionary leadership and commitment to reforms.
Sports247 gathered further that there is a great level ofoptimism that resolutions reached during the meeting will help to strengthen the governance, relationships and structures of the NFF, in order to chart a new course for Nigeria’s football development.
