Usman Abd’Allah has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance following Remo Stars FC 3–1 victory over Kwara United FC, as the defending champions continue their push for consistency in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The win marks back-to-back victories for Remo Stars, a significant boost for a side that has faced recent challenges in maintaining form.
Speaking after the match, Abd’Allah emphasized the importance of securing maximum points as the team works towards its season objectives.
“Yeah, I think the plan is going as expected. This is the target as we really need those six points,” he said.
Reflecting on their previous outing against Nasarawa United FC, the coach admitted his side came close to dropping points due to lapses in concentration but praised the team’s improved display in the latest fixture.
“For the last match against Nasarawa United, it was a tough one that we nearly lost due to lack of concentration, but today it was a very impressive performance from the boys.”
Remo Stars delivered a clinical attacking display to secure all three points. Ahmed Akinyele opened the scoring in the 38th minute, before Victor Mbaoma extended the lead in the 63rd minute.
Haruna Hadi then added a third goal in the 70th minute to seal a comfortable victory for the hosts.
Looking ahead, Abd’Allah turned his attention to a potentially tricky away fixture against El-Kanemi Warriors FC in Maiduguri, expressing hope for a smooth trip and another positive result.
“I hope there won’t be any security problem in Maiduguri as our next trip is against Elkanemi Warriors. Three points there, the game is over.”
With renewed confidence and momentum, Remo Stars will aim to build on this result as they continue their campaign in the NPFL.
