Sanusi And Moffi Helps Porto Cruise Into Europa League Quarterfinals

Zaidu Sanusi and Terem Moffi were both in action as FC Porto sealed qualification for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League with a commanding aggregate victory over VfB Stuttgart.

Holding the advantage from the first leg, Porto delivered another composed performance to wrap up a 4–1 aggregate win, confirming their status as serious contenders in the competition.

The breakthrough came in the 21st minute when Borja Sainz set up William Gomes, who reacted quickest to a loose ball and finished clinically to extend Porto’s lead.

The Portuguese side maintained control throughout the contest, limiting Stuttgart’s attacking opportunities.

In the second half, Victor Froholdt produced a moment of brilliance, striking from outside the box with his left foot in the 72nd minute to put the result beyond doubt. The goal capped off a dominant display from the hosts.

Stuttgart’s night went from difficult to disastrous when Nikolas Nartey received his second yellow card, reducing the German side to ten men and effectively ending any hopes of a comeback.

Both Sanusi and Moffi played their roles as Porto combined defensive solidity with attacking efficiency, comfortably seeing out the tie. With this result, Porto march into the quarterfinals full of confidence, as they continue their pursuit of European silverware.
