Sports247 gathered that Madrid’s maverick president, Florentino Pérez is dangling the carrot at Olise, with a strong permutation that the French international would take up the offer from Los Blancos instead of a return to England.
This follows reports linking the former Crystal Palace sensation with a horde of English Premier League clubs – including Manchester City and Chelsea – but Pérez believes he can lure Olise over to Santiago Bernabeu instead.
A report by German tabloid, BILD revealed that world-renowned transfer expert, Ekrem Konur first broke the news about Madrid’s plans to offer €160m for the France international, whose current contract with Bayern runs until 2030.
“Real Madrid are pushing to sign Michael Olise; the club would make an offer that could reach 160 million euros to sign him,” stated Konur.
One of the tabloid’s reporters, Christian Falk added: “Sport Bild knows: Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is planning a masterstroke to make everyone forget the current season. The fans will settle for another superstar.”
