“I am very optimistic about Nigeria’s chances in boxing at the Commonwealth Games,” Imadu said.

According to him, early preparation and proper planning will be key to ensuring the athletes arrive at the competition in the best possible condition.

“With early preparations and good planning, I believe the team can do very well,” he added.

The boxing official went a step further by predicting that Nigeria’s representatives will not just compete, but return with medals.

“The 10 boxers representing the country can attain podium finishes,” he said.

Imadu also set an ambitious target for the team, stating that he expects Nigeria to bring home at least six gold medals from the competition.

“I believe they can bring home at least six gold medals,” he declared.

His comments reflect growing confidence within Nigerian boxing circles as attention turns to the Commonwealth Games and the country’s medal prospects.

For Imadu, solid preparation, discipline and the right support structure will be crucial if Nigeria is to turn that confidence into success in the ring.
