Borussia Dortmund of Germany midfielder, Karim Adeyemi had a bitter-sweet evening in the German Bundesliga, as he scored a goal but saw a couple of other efforts blocked in his side’s victory over Augsburg.

Sports247 reports that, before things got pretty tough for the Nigerian-born mulatto dazzler and his pals, Adeyemi pounced early to open the path on the way to BVB’s 2-0 victory over Augsburg at Signal Iduna Park.
Dortmund hit the ground running inside the first 15 minutes, as Daniel Svensson slid the ball through to Maximilian Beier, whose deflected low cross rolled over to Adeyemi and he calmly netted his second goal of 2026.
Things took a dramatic change from that point, though, as Beier and Adeyemi both went agonisingly close with fierce efforts that rattled the crossbar, before Finn Dahmen reacted smartly to keep out Jobe Bellingham’s long-range shot.
Augsburg’s interim coach, Manuel Baum made full use of his substitutes’ bench throughout the second half, but they were fortunate not to fall further behind, with Dahmen required to make a strong save to deny Adeyemi late on.
