Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen was on the scoresheet as Galatasaray S.K. secured a comfortable home victory over İstanbul Başakşehir F.K. in the Süper Lig.

The hosts opened the scoring when Wilfried Singo found the net in the 57th minute, finishing from an assist by Noa Lang.
Başakşehir’s task became even more difficult shortly before that moment when Festy Ebosele received his second yellow card in the 56th minute, reducing the visitors to 10 men.
Galatasaray quickly capitalized on the numerical advantage. 11 minutes later, Yunus Akgün set up Osimhen, who calmly finished to score his 12th league goal of the season.
The hosts added further gloss to the scoreline when Renato Nhaga converted another assist from Akgün to seal the win.
The victory strengthens Galatasaray’s grip on the top of the table as they now lead the Süper Lig standings by seven points ahead of Fenerbahçe S.K. and Trabzonspor.
