Former Super Eagles’ midfielder, Eddy Ogenyi Oazi has declared that Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor Osimhen is a type of player who would bring a lot of top quality values to the table at Manchester United of England.

Sports247 reports that Osimhen proved his mettle once more on Saturday, as he hit his 10th goal of the season, with an 83rd minute strike against Alayanspor, while also notching a 53rd minute assist in his side’s 3-1 win.
As if on cue, Onazi stuck out his neck in favour of Osimhen as a striker who is always realiable and believes he would add value to the attack of a legendary team like The Red Devils.
Onazi, who starred for SS Lazio of Italy at the height of his career, also took a swipe at information going round that United snubbed Osimhen because they did not want to miss him during the Africa Cup of Nations, which the players said was a flimsy excuse.
He reckoned that, since Liverpool allowed Mohammed Salah to go for the recent continental competition in Morocco, despite the Egyptian star being one of their key players, United should have done the same with Osimhen.
The former battling midfielder, who shot to limelight as a member of the Golden Eaglets’ squad that won silver at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Abuja, stressed that Osimhen will always make things happen for any club that signs him.
Onazi added that Osimhen would have enacted at Old Trafford the same important values he gave all his former teams – VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, Racing Charleroi of Belgium, Lille Metropole of France and SSC Napoli of Italy.
“I don’t think that’s an excuse for them not to sign Victor. If they know the importance and what he could be able to bring to the table for Manchester United, that shouldn’t be an excuse.
“There are other players who go to the African Nations Cup in Manchester United, and other clubs too as well, that are very important – like Mo Salah in Liverpool,” Onazi told Footy-Africa.
