Olympique Marseille of France loan signing, Ethan Nwaneri has been described as a very gifted and decisive young player who will soon become one of world football’s most talked about footballers.

Sports247 reports that this sensational verdict came from a former top player at Arsenal of England, Robert Pires, who reckoned further that Nwaneri’s move to Marseille from The Gunners was a step in the right direction.
The French legend added that he is happy to see Nwaneri take the next steps of his career in France, where he believes the Nigerian-born England youth international will not have any problems with language.
Pires pointed at the presence of another player from England, Mason Greenwood in Marseille’s squad, as well as other players who can speak English, all of who the French icon believes will make Nwaneri feel at home.
He rated Nwaneri as a technically blessed teenager, who will be a sensation in Ligue 1, having gained his breakthrough during the 2024/25 season, with nine goals and some stunning performances that led to a five-year contract at Arsenal.
“Young Ethan is technically gifted and very incisive. It’s not easy for him, but the English aren’t afraid of anything, I’m not worried about him.
“He’ll have Mason Greenwood’s support. What’s also good for him is that Habib speaks very good English,” Pires told French publication, La Provence.
