Milwaukee Bucks of USA star, Giannis Antetokounmpo (Adetokunbo) has been rated with a ‘still relevant status’ in the National Basketball Association (NBA), despite his recent battles with recurring injuries.

Sports247 reports that, though the Nigerian-born Greece international was forced to miss the recent NBA All Stars’ weekend due to a calf strain, pundits are keeping him high on the scales of the league’s best players.
Adding his support to ‘The Greek Freak’ as a player whose status is never in dispute is Sports Yahoo’s fantasy analyst, Dan Titus, who reckoned that records over the years speak in favour of Antetokounmpo.
“Giannis is recovering from his second right calf strain of the season — same leg, same injury. While there hasn’t been a definite timeline on when he’ll play, he’s progressed to 3-on-3 and 4-on-4 work at practice.
“Live contact is next, but it sounds like he’s still at least a couple of weeks away from coming back. I’m growing concerned, but you can’t cut Giannis at this point until he’s definitively ruled out for the season.
“The Bucks are only one game behind The Hornets for the final play-in spot, so getting Antetokounmpo back should be a priority,” Titus submitted in his assessment of the NBA’s two-time most valuable player (MVP).
