Her title-winning run also boosted her to fourth place on the African U-14 rankings, representing her best continental position so far.
Atilola impressed with her maturity and consistency across both legs of the competition.
She dominated the opening leg, combining sharp baseline play with disciplined shot selection to claim the trophy.
In the second leg, she sustained her momentum, reaching the semi-finals before finishing fourth overall, a performance that further highlighted her reliability at the highest junior level in Africa.
Her rapid progression has been remarkable, especially considering she only began regular participation on the African Junior Circuit last year.
Since then, Atilola has steadily climbed the rankings through strong performances in ITF and Confederation of African Tennis-approved tournaments.
The Algeria championship has further reinforced her reputation as one of Nigeria’s brightest emerging talents in junior tennis and a growing contender on the continental stage.
With her 13th birthday set for October, the young star remains focused on continued improvement.
If her development continues on its current path, Atilola could soon mount a serious challenge for the African U-14 top spot while boosting Nigeria’s profile in junior tennis across the continent.
