Sports247 reports that, with the star having netted five goals and got three assists in 34 matches for Dortmund, Kehl believes Nmecha has finally come of age and deserves lots of applause.
The Nigerian-born midfielder is enjoying an excellent season in the German Bundesliga and he is already attracting summer transfer interest from resurgent Manchester United of England.
The younger brother of Leeds United’s Lukas Nmecha and a former youth team player at Manchester City of England has a deal with Dortmund until 2028.
However, with his personal ratings soaring to an all-time high in recent days, speculating is escalating about a likely exit from BVB for the in-form fair-skinned midfielder.
As the days rapidly roll by, the 25-year-old Nmecha, who also previously played at VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, is picking up top form with each passing match, much to Kehl’s delight.
Kehl told Sky Deutschland: “Felix contributes a lot at the moment and is an incredibly important player.”
