Sports247 reports that Kayode made use of the rare privilege of an unusual ball throwing exhibition organized by his English Premier League club to reveal the gender of the baby his partner is expecting.
Kayode has become popular among Brentford fans with his ability to throw the ball far into an opponents’ penalty area during games, and The Bees’ top brass arranged for him to do it in their empty stadium.
It turned into a moment of glee for Kayode, as he calmly executed his trademark long throw into an empty goalmouth at Gtech Community Stadium and the gender of his unborn baby was revealed.
A roar of excitement came from the players, coaches and officials as the ball hit the net, igniting fireworks from the crossbar and pink-coloured smoke signified that a baby girl is coming.
Kayode posted a video of the dramatic moment on Instagram and wrote: “We can’t wait to see you! It’s a dream come true to have been able to make all this happen in a stadium and with a club that means so much to me!”
