Open invitations have been extended to interested institutions willing to participate in relay races at the upcoming inter-house sports competitions of two Lagos-based schools – Caleb International and Wellspring College.
Sports247 gathered that the first invitation was provided by the coach and physical education teacher of Caleb International College, Mr Francis Peter, who disclosed that the competition will take place on March 13th.

A statement posted by Peter on a social media platform for academic institutions in Lagos State revealed that the day will be graced by some esteemed persons and ‘big names’ in sports circles across the country.
Mr Peter stated, “Caleb International College, Magodo, Lagos annual inter-house sports competition comes up on the 13th of March, 2026 at our sports field along CMD Road, Ikosi, Lagos.
“Institutions that are interested in coming to take part in the invited schools’ relays are welcome. We hope to bring ex-internationals and some other top sports personalities to the event.”
Meanwhile, Wellspring College, located at Somide Odujirin Street, Omole Phase 2 Ikeja, Lagos, also sent a similar invitation on the same portal ahead of their annual inter-house sports festival billed for Agege Stadium on Friday, 20th February 2026.
